Child Safety Standards Policy
We take child safety extremely seriously. Our application is committed to preventing and addressing all forms of Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE). This document outlines our policies and practices to comply with the Google Play Child Safety Standards Policy and applicable global child protection laws.
1. Zero Tolerance Against CSAE
We have a zero-tolerance policy for any content or behavior involving the sexual abuse, exploitation, or endangerment of children. This includes, but is not limited to:
Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM)
Grooming or predatory behavior
Sexual extortion, trafficking, or exploitation of minors
Engaging in, soliciting, or attempting inappropriate communication with minors
2. In-App Reporting Mechanism
Our app includes a built-in reporting tool that allows users to flag inappropriate content or behavior. Reports are reviewed by our moderation team within 24 hours, and appropriate actions are taken, such as account suspension or reporting to law enforcement when necessary.
Users may also contact us directly at: info@steermeup.com
3. Handling and Response to CSAM
We immediately remove all content identified as CSAM and disable associated user accounts. When appropriate, such material is reported to local law enforcement and/or relevant child protection organizations, such as the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC).
4. Compliance with Laws and Best Practices We comply with all applicable local and international child protection laws and follow best practices recommended by organizations such as the Tech Coalition . Our policies are regularly reviewed and updated.
5. Child Safety Contact Point If you are a law enforcement authority or a child protection organization and need to reach our designated contact person for child safety matters, please email us at: info@steermeup.com
6. Age Restrictions Our app is not intended for users under the age of 18. We use age gates and content moderation to block underage access and remove users who misrepresent their age.
7. Staff Training Our moderation and support staff are trained to identify and escalate CSAE-related content. Regular training is conducted to ensure reports are handled promptly and responsibly.
8. Updates to This Policy We may update this policy as needed to remain aligned with evolving standards. All updates will be published on this page.
